Data confidentiality at the CNRS

The CNRS, in its capacity as data controller, informs you that your data is being processed. When certain information is mandatory to access specific features of the site, this mandatory nature is indicated at the time of data entry collection. If you refuse to provide mandatory information, you may not have access to certain services. 

Registered personal data

Personal data may be collected by AISSAI as well as by the Data Protection Officer of the CNRS – Data Protection Service, Site Jean Zay – Bât Ariane 4, 2 rue Jean Zay, 54500 VANDOEUVRE LES NANCY.

The IP addresses collected for statistical purposes by the MATOMO software are anonymized, i.e. the first two octets of an IP address will be retained. This process prevents tracing back to a natural person.

Types of data collected

  • last name First Name ;
  • the identifier (pseudonym) created for the operation of the online account;
  • e-mail.

Data retention period

They are kept for a period of :

  • At the end of an event, the list of data required for registration is deleted;
  • Personal data will be kept for a maximum of 36 months.

Transfer of data outside the European Union

No transfer of data outside the European Union is carried out.

In accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory provisions, in particular the law n ° 78-17 of January 6 modified relating to data processing, files and freedoms and the European regulation n ° 2016/679 / EU of April 27, 2016 (applicable since May 25, 2018), you have the following rights :
